BIOGRAPHY:
Graciela Ponce was born in Georgia to Rodolfo and Yamila Ponce, both Argentine immigrants performing at a traveling circus. Graciela grew up on the road, speaking both Spanish and English. She was home-schooled and had few friends. Even though she traveled all around the state, she thought of the circus as a cage. She performed to earn her keep as an acrobat.
When she was old enough, she bought a car with money she had saved up (it was a pile of crap) and she drove to Gotham. There, she found herself on the streets. At first she thought that anywhere was better than the circus, but she didn't have food or a place to stay. She began to steal things to get by. One day, a man came across her and asked if she wanted a job. She said yes without hesitation. He had her break in to the headquarters of a large company and steal something. He paid her with food and shelter. He began to keep asking, and she kept agreeing. She wore face-paint , shaved her head, and used her extremely flexible and strong body to break in and out of anywhere.
Eventually, she realized that she could do better than what the man requested. She left him and began to look for work from anyone that would hire her. She would steal important items for steep prices. Many were reluctant at first, but they soon realized her talents and Graciela began to earn money. She bought an apartment, a new car, and burned off her finger and toe-prints.
When the Batman came out, she decided that she could wear a costume too - it might even be fun! She got together a traditional circus outfit and began to steal in that.
