Personality/Bio: Most Tourmalines on Homeworld are expected to be fighters.  Sometimes, though, Watermelon Tourmalines are given command positions, thought superior due to their bicolored appearance.  This Tourmaline didn't want that, though.  She wanted to fight, to earn respect from her deeds rather than her looks.  So she did.  She began to work occasional missions with Jasper, who she came to immensely admire.  When Jasper failed to return from Earth, Tourmaline got worried.  It wasn't like Jasper to fail a mission.  She asked to accompany the rubies to retrieve her, but Yellow Diamond refused, putting much more faith in the rubies than Tourmaline did.  Then, she did something that she'd never done before.  She disobeyed Yellow Diamond, stole a small ship and some tracking equipment and went to earth.  It took her a couple days, but she found Jasper and, when Jasper refused to return to Homeworld without defeating and capturing Rose Quartz, she worked to help her collect an army of corrupted gems.  She was out collecting some when Steven, Peridot, and Amethyst defeated Jasper at the Kindergarten.  When she realized something had happened, she went to Beach City right away, demanding answers.  When the Crystal Gems explained what happened, Tourmaline realized that they were her only chance at finding a cure for Jasper's corruption.  She grudgingly agrees to work with them, hoping that together they can save the gem that she came to earth to help.

Also she's harder and more of a douche than this picture and my other doodles let on
I'm just feeling really emotional about Jasper right now so so is she.  once i cope a little bit better I'll draw some pics more representative of her personality
